Description: I am selling a rare 1876 Indian Princess $1 Gold Coin. Only 3,200 of these coins were ever minted and many more have been melted down. Her bust is nicely outlined, with her facial features defined and nearly every letter of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" shows. LIBERTY can still be read on the headband. The date is visible on the reverse, although most of "DOLLAR" has been smoothed away. The wreath still has great detail and texture and most of the reeding can be seen on the edge of the coin. This coin was holed at some point, causing it to be very slightly bent. It may have been polished/cleaned and has several light scratches on the reverse. Still a very scarce piece to add to any type coin collection! Guaranteed authentic! Please use the pictures to determine the grade and feel free to ask any questions that you have. Will ship next day once payment is received. Check out my other coins for sale as shipping is free for multiple purchases.
