Description: 1995 Fleer Jam Session Game Test Samples AND 1995 Fleer Extra Bases Game Test Samples (aka Extra Bases PREVIEW) COMPLETE SETS IN UNCUT SHEET FORM (TWO UNCUT SHEETS MAKE THE SETS) There are TWO Uncut Sheets for this listing. The first sheet includes the entire BASEBALL set, and, more than half of the BASKETBALL set. The second sheet finishes the basketball set, and, includes many of the game "rules" cards. Note the Jordan card is part of the first sheet. Key cards in the 25 card baseball set are: Cal Ripken, Jr., Kirby Puckett, Mike Piazza, Barry Bonds, R. Clemens, Jeff Bagwell, Tony Gwynn, Craig Biggio, Ken Griffey, Jr., G. Maddux, Deion Sanders, Frank Thomas, etc.... Key cards in the 15 card basketball set are: MICHAEL JORDAN, Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O'Neal, Grant Hill, Zo, Kidd, Penny Hardaway, etc. CONDITION: Those of you that have seen my listings for single cards from these sets have seen or read about the "surface ink loss" problems with these cards. Many of these cards / sheets stuck together while in storage over the years, so, a majority of cards suffer from ink loss to the surface. These sheets do have areas of surface ink loss, however, the Jordan card only has a few tiny specs of this loss, and, is one of the best Jordan's I've seen. Note the Cal Ripken, Jr. card is also very nice. The cards with the most surface ink loss are Biggio, Bagwell, M. Williams, Bonds, Gwynn, and Mourning (on the first sheet). The second sheet has surface ink loss across the top row of basketball cards (Hill, Stockton, Malone, KJ, Barkley, D. Robinson). The second sheet is essentially a toss in to complete the set, while acknowledging there are condition issues. The top value cards of JORDAN, RIPKEN, and GRIFFEY are in very nice condition. Please use the close up feature in the photos to see the positive / negative features of these card sheets. Each uncut sheet measures within a fraction of 28.25 inches height and 20.65 inches width. A very scarce test printing for a Fleer issue that was never released. The designer's concept was for a card set to be used with a board game, thus, the name "Game" Test Samples. Fleer Management decided not to pursue production, and, the only cards that exist from this set are the sample test printing. Best estimates are about 100 to 140 sets being printed. As a sample, quality control was not a major issue and the vast majority of what I've seen from this set is not suitable for receiving Mint grades. Because this was a Fleer / Jam Session "potential" product, the National Basketball Association / NBA Licensing mark / logo is affixed to the back of the cards. AND, the baseball set contains the MLB Licensing mark / logos. Very FEW of these cards have been released into the hobby.
