Description: Watch Description: As an obsessive watch collector, this is a beautiful early 60s Girard Perregux Seahawk, gold filled, wristwatch. The endearing presentation engraving for BAC quarter century club is dated 1962 which is an excellent indicator to the watch production date. The condition is very good especially considering it's age, with relatively few signs of wear, The silver dial is clean and crisp as is the case with few marks. The crystal has a few scratches but nothing offensive and mainly unnoticeable in normal light. As far as I am aware, the watch is unmodified, 100% authentic and original with the exception of the strap and buckle which are new and not original to the watch, though I believe extremely complementary. Disclaimer: Obviously the watch is not new, is 60 plus years old and in used condition. It is running just fine, however as a vintage watch I am selling it as is, without guaranteeing its timekeeping accuracy. Reason for Sale: As you can see from the description, I am not a watch dealer, but a bordering obsessive watch collector. Unfortunately my collection has become too big, and there are a few grail watches that I would love to buy. So unfortunately it's time to sell pieces that I find are getting less wrist time. All the more reason that make this GP such an attractive watch. So my bottom line elevator pitch: A classic, vintage GP watch in original but beautiful condition. At 33mm diameter, excellent for a man, woman and youngster. The condition is excellent and hard to find better. Would look great in any collection or on anyone's wrist. Vintage pieces always have a sense of style and history that is hard to define but irreplaceable. In this condition, and at this competitive price, it's hard to go wrong :)
