Description: Locust Burl Slab with Live Edge. I am not positive that this is a Locust species, that is just my guess. This wood is very dense and heavy. I bought this as part of a huge estate sale so I'm unsure of it's origin. This piece has an oil finish on one side that I left alone. Wood is dry and ready for use. Moisture meter reads about 10% MC. Pictures show wood sprayed with water to show figure and simulate the look of the wood once a finish is applied.
