Description: New LP Vinyl Sealed. Artaud is the third studio album by Pescado Rabioso and the second as a soloist by Argentine rock musician Luis Alberto Spinetta, released in 1973. The album was credited to Pescado Rabioso for complex reasons, but was produced and recorded by Luis Alberto Spinetta as a soloist, who get the collaboration of his brother Gustavo Spinetta, Rodolfo García and Emilio del Guercio, these last two former partners of Spinetta in the Almendra band. The album title refers to the French poet and creator of the Theater of Cruelty, Antonin Artaud, to whom it is dedicated. The concept of the album is influenced by his life and work, and expresses Spinetta's reaction to it.It is one of the culminating works of Latin American music, considered repeatedly, not only as Spinetta's best album, but also as the best Argentine rock album ever.
