It has been introduced into the United States and Taiwan. General Description: Compact, rounded shrub that bears spectacular amethyst purple fruit throughout the winter. Hardiness Zone: 5 to 8 Maintenance: Low Mature Height: 3 to 4 feet Mature Width: 4 to 5 feet Plant Details: Growth Habit: Fast growing, rounded yet weeping shrub. Leaf Structure: Simple green leaves with slightly serrated edges. Elliptical in opposite arrangement along the stems, measuring 1 to 3 inches long. Young leaves appear hairy. Autumn color is yellow.
