Description: This is a interesting item it's a ww2 era ordnance truck tool chest. See pics. It would have contained some tools and spare parts. I bought this at a yard sale and the gentleman said it belonged to his father who was in the army. The box is a nice little tool box. Has 5 drawers. The inside of the drawers have some green paint left. The underside of the drawers still has green paint that almost looks new in some areas. see pics. The bottom has some rust. Tool chest outside diameter rough is 16" across by 8-1/2" front to back by 10-3/4" tall. It has a handle on top. The box has silver paint on the outside. It does have handles on the side. in good shape. Shows its age but a good usable tool box and a rare WW2 Collectible. See pics for best description. Comes as seen in pics. Any questions just ask. If buyer wants I have a link to site that has a pdf on a book of what the tool.box should have contained for tools and stuff about the truck. It would be fun to collect some period tools for the box. I cleaned it up a little bit with some simple green to get most of the grime off, I left some, and I didn't clean the front panel there is some stenciling there and I don't know if it was from the previous owner or if it meant something in the army, I can't read it.
