Description: Silver Yamato White Fleshed Watermelon seeds grown in my organic garden. A Japanese Heirloom, these small to medium sized Icebox watermelons feature white creamy flesh that is very sweet with Asian Pear undertones! Has a crisp clean sweet taste & texture. My favorite! These icebox melons get anywhere from 2 - 8lbs and mature faster then most watermelon varieties. Vines get from 6 - 12ft and produce 2 - 6 watermelons per vine. Great short growing season. These melons are very fragile and should be handled with care. I grow them in zone 5a. I take care to not cross pollinate with other watermelons by planting only one type in the garden. Seeds are collected and sorted by hand. There are no floaters! I don't ship outside the 50 US states.
